Have you planned for your Financial Future?
It’s a very simple concept but a very ignored area of day to day life. In my experience, everyday Australians just don’t put enough emphasis on their financial future. They have no plans in place, and they are open to a lot of risk.
Here are some alarming statistics;
- Only 20% of working Australians have a current will.
- 80% of working Australians DO NOT have a savings plan outside of their super.
- 33% of working Australians between 18 and 59 have NO life insurance cover at all.
I understand that ‘Income Protection and TPD insurance cover’ is not a very exciting conversation to have, but what would you do if an illness or accident was to happen to someone in your direct family? Who would look after them? Who would pay the mortgage? Who would cover the medical expenses? In my line of work I see it too often.
